Nuggets Best Players: Refs
I don't know about you but it seems the Nuggets best players are the referees. No, I'm not bitter about the Mavs losing to the Nuggets, as I knew they were the better team but when it comes down to how the refs are officiating the games in these playoff games, it does seem the Nuggets are getting away with blatant childish fouls to help them win games.
It happened in the first round against the Hornets, then the Mavs and now the Lakers.
I hope to see a Lakers vs. Magic Finals and I'm actually rooting for the Magic now to win it all. I want to see Lebron go home and I want to see the Nuggets lose to the Lakers.
Mark Wunderlich Sucks
This referee sucks at his job. He couldn't even agree with what the NBA released. Did he not review the replay? I'm sure he's seen it a dozen times already. I'm sure the NBA Execs showed him the review of the FUCKING FOUL he should have called.
This referee either needs really huge thick fucking glasses or he needs to find a new job. So many controversial calls in huge games have not been called by this crappy referee when they should have been.
We have the technology to review games, why not use it on every controversial call or hell, every call to make sure they're making the right call. Fouls are called when they were'n't fouls and then fouls aren't called when they're fucking blatantly obvious.
The NBA needs to find more honest unbiased referees or games are always going to be tainted when shit like this occurs.
Denver Game 3
B U L L S H I T
You have a foul to give, you clearly foul, but they count the 3 pointer anyways. What fucking bullshit? I guess Cuban's just gonna have to suck some cock or something to get the right calls made because clearly something is wrong when a ref can't call what was clearly a FUCKING FOUL!
Down But Not Out
The Mavs are down but not out just yet. Although I don't think they're going to win this series, I still want them to push the Nuggets to a game 7.
With Howard possibly injured and won't be 100% or maybe even out for the rest of the series, our hopes have faded.
The Rockets are up a game on the Lakers, although the Lakers will come back and probably win the series, if the Mavericks could somehow pull out and beat the Nuggets, a possible Texas showdown of the Rockets and Mavs would be fun to watch.
Denver Here We Come
So we managed to beat the Spurs on their home court. This is the first time the Spurs lost in the first round of the playoffs in their history as a franchise. That's some good bragging rights to have and keep for a team.
So here comes Denver, a team we lost 4 times to during the regular season. Let's hope that the Mav's are a different team like they've been displaying since the All-Star break, only losing once at home and with them defeating the Spurs who had home court advantage, I think we can take Denver if they have it in their heart. We just have to stop Anthony, he's the only one that scares me because we really don't have anyone that could put the heat on him defensively.
Perhaps we should just have one of our bench players that sees zero playing time take him out in the first quarter and first game.
Here's they're schedule:
Game 1 - Sunday at Denver 2:30 p.m. ABC
Game 2 - Tuesday Denver 9:30 p.m. TNT
Game 3 - Sat., May 9 at Dallas 4 p.m. ESPN
Game 4 - Mon., May 11 at Dallas 8:30 p.m. TNT
Game 5 * Wed., May 13 at Denver TBD TNT
Game 6 * Fri., May 15 at Dallas TBD ESPN
Game 7 * Sun., May 17 at Denver TBD TBD
Let's Go Mavs!
Mavs are up 2-1 with a blowout at their first home game in the series against the Spurs. The statistics are on their side now to take this series away from the Spurs.
80% of teams that win the 3rd game in a first round playoff series go on to win the series or something like that. They're also up 2-1 with another home game, if they win at home, that means they'll be up 3-1 which also increases their odds.
Why should the Mavs beat the Spurs to probably lose in the next round against Denver most likely? Well, this would be the first time the Spurs lost in the first round of the playoffs and that's bragging rights in my opinion.
Game 2
So will the Mavs beat the Spurs to take advantage of winning this series on the Spurs home turf tonight? I hope I'm wrong but I think the Spurs are going to come out seeking revenge tonight.
If Dampier has the same type of game he had in game one and they start Little Jose to wear Tony Parker out quicker in the game, we have a shot at winning this game and definitely the series.
