Rumor Mill

So it's more than likely that Kidd won't be back with the Mavericks after this season is over. There's recent rumors about seeing him in a Knicks uniform. I'd imagine that is only likely is because Kidd would want to play for their coach and not the city or team. Also with all the rumors about LeBron possibly eyeing New York, it would set Kidd up for that possibility. Everyone should realize when players heading to the Hall are nearing their daily life as an NBA player without a ring already, that's their only goal.

Everyone talks about how old Kidd is and he's done but I really don't see him officially retiring for another couple of years, probably taking more of a bench role for a up and coming point guard.

But Cuban even is claimed to say Kidd was not only to help but make some salary cap room for the next coming seasons. Was it a mistake to trade Harris though? Absolutely in my opinion.

Another rumor that was floating around was Shaq coming to Dallas. I'm not sure what he'd do for the team except open his mouth to talk smack to others around the league in how great he is and how they're not. He can stay put or retire, but please, he won't contribute anything if we're still seeking to rebound and try to win a finals in the coming years.
