Stackhouse Ponders Future
According to some articles on ESPN, Ft. Worth Star-Telegram and the Dallas Morning News, Stackhouse claims he has many minutes left in his career and he's not getting enough playing time in Dallas.
Honestly I don't mind seeing Stackhouse go. Maybe you're not getting the minutes and play time when you don't produce anything for the team during such minutes.
Perhaps this is the time to not trade for anyone but for a draft pick, either a late first round pick or early second round pick is all Stackhouse is worth right now.
We have Wright and Green readily available to take his spot, with Green proving he is worthy to play that role and energy off the bench.

No way would he get traded for a first round pick. He has 2 years left at 7 mil a year. Our best hope is a team who needs veteran experience and toughness from the bench may trade someone who has underachieved but only has one year left on a contract for Stack and we can free up some salary cap for the off-season. If we could get a second round pick included, that'd be great.

Yeah, if we did get a first round pick for him it'd be towards the end of the first round and it'd be a team that has already gotten a few with no real need for any, going for that veteran player to help out their recent youngsters.
But we'll end up getting another crappy veteran most likely for him if there is a trade or a developing player that disappears after the year is over.
