Terry Out, Howard Needs To Step Up
Now with Terry out, having surgery on his broken hand, Josh Howard needs to step up and take over the role he is suppose to carry, the number two man on the team.
Terry underwent surgery to stabilize a fracture in his hand. There is no time table for his return. This is bad news for the Mavericks, being 7th in the Western Conference standings and losing Terry who's the most likely 6th man leader in the NBA.
With Terry out though, Howard needs to step back up to the plate, stop half ass'in his performance and live up to the hype that surrounded his potential before last year.
If Howard can't take over where Terry was so effective in helping win games, we're going to need Bass and Little Jose's help desperately if we want to stay in contention going into the second half of the season.
